Why the clinic exists

Our passion is building confident communicators and increasing overall quality of life by utilizing evidence-based therapy provided by highly skilled speech-language pathologists.

Summit Speech Therapy Inc was created to improve client and family access to speech-language therapy provided by well-trained, knowledgeable speech-language pathologists. After working for years in local schools, therapy clinics, and hospitals, we found a wide disconnect between what was needed and what was offered.

We grew tired of school systems limiting treatment frequency because of budget and staffing. We worked in “comprehensive” clinics where speech was an afterthought and not given adequate resources. We created a clinic where speech services are the primary focus. All ages are affected by speech-language needs. We love pediatric and youth work, and we are trained for the unique needs of adults. We want access, and we want it in a timely manner.

Families know the frustration of wait lists at larger clinics and hospitals, and the inconvenience of a part-time home therapist’s schedule. Working the full range of communication services for children, adolescents, and adults is all we do. Directing our full-time energy toward these services lets us stay at the front of the field and keep care in the best interest of the client and family.
