How care starts
Start with a free phone consultation.
One of our qualified speech-language pathologists will discuss your questions and concerns, give a general overview of our services, and offer initial feedback so you can decide if speech therapy is right for you or your child.
From there, your clinician and your insurance plan determine whether a screening or a comprehensive evaluation is appropriate. Comprehensive evaluations use a wide range of diagnostic tools:
- Fluency, stuttering and cluttering
- Speech, articulation, phonological processes, dysarthria, apraxia
- Speech-language, sounds plus receptive and expressive language, including reading and writing
- Cognitive, memory, attention, processing, problem solving, executive function
- Dysphagia/swallowing, feeding and swallowing function
Therapy addresses speech, language, cognitive communication, and swallowing/feeding. Individual and group sessions are scheduled against the goals in each client’s treatment plan.
